11月1日，埃及第二个国际机场--狮身人面像机场Sphinx Airport正式启用，当日迎来首个商业航班，一同亮相的还有机场内14台高颜值沃克斯迅达电梯。8台VF系列自动扶梯、4台VG系列观光电梯和2台VE系列乘客电梯，为这个以埃及著名古迹命名的现代化机场增添了活力。
Egypt's second international Airport, Sphinx Airport, officially opened on November 1st, welcoming its first commercial flight on the same day, along with 14 units high appearance level VOLKLSLIFT elevators. 8 units VF series escalators, 4 units VG series panorama elevators and 2 units VE series passenger elevators, this all added vitality to this modern airport named after Egyptian famous monument.
狮身人面像国际机场位于埃及首都开罗西部，主要服务吉萨、十月六日城、贝尼苏夫和法尤姆等旅游胜地，距离举世闻名的金字塔区仅12公里。埃及民航部长穆罕默德·阿巴斯表示，狮身人面像国际机场是埃及总统塞西为民航部门建设的最重要的机场之一，因为该机场紧邻金字塔区和新建的大埃及博物馆，这有助于把城市和考古区联系起来，方便游客，振兴一日游，符合埃及的2030年愿景战略目标，同时还有助于埃及国家经济发展计划的实现。
The Sphinx International Airport is located in the west of Cairo, the capital of Egypt. It mainly serves the tourist destinations of Giza, 6th of October, Beni Sweif and Fayoum, it is only 12 kilometers away from the world-famous pyramid area. Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Muhammad Abbas said that the Sphinx International Airport is one of the most important airports built by Egypt President Abdel Fattah al Sisi for the construction of the civil aviation department, because the airport is close to The Pyramid area and The Grand Egyptian Museum. This will help to link the city to the archaeological area, convenience for tourists, revitalize one-day tour, this is in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 strategic goals, meanwhile, it also contributes to Egypt's national economic development plan.
